Arap Ahmet

Here is Arap Ahmet. A nice region in North Nicosia. I am ashamed that I discovered this place in 2005. Actually I always heard but I never visit this place. Now I am very regretful because of loss. But I am consoled that at least I discovered this place :))

Arap Ahmet is one the oldest places in Nicosia, but nowadays the old buildings has started to be restored (also we must restore the mentality of the people !!!) This picture shows the one side of a building. I think this building is an
exhibition center.

I feel that the blurred man represent ourselves and the wall is our lives, sometimes colorful, sometimes black & white and sometimes old as the side that paint fell down (Canon 1Ds Mark II, lens 16-35 @Hasan Bilgehan)
